Journey Psyche is dedicated to helping those who want to improve their lives. To ensure we meet each of our client’s needs, all scheduling changes and cancellations must be made at least 2 Business Days before the date of the scheduled appointment.
- Your credit card on file will be charged the applicable No Show/Late Cancellation Fee on the day of the missed appointment.
- Your insurance company will not reimburse you or Journey Psyche for missed appointments or late cancellations.
- Courtesy calls or emails are just that, a courtesy. Not receiving a reminder call or email does not excuse a missed appointment or a late cancellation.
- Multiple missed appointments or late cancellations will result in dismissal from the practice.
- We do understand that emergencies happen. If you request to waive your fee for a missed appointment or late cancellation due to an illness, we require a physician's note to consider the request. Consideration for such a waiver occurs monthly, and refunds are not processed until then.
Zoom Meetings are live video conferencing, like Skype/Facetime, with HD quality and medical-grade security encryption. You can use your mobile phone, iPad, tablet, or computer with a reliable internet connection and video camera.
Psychiatric medication management requires monthly visits with a Journey Psyche prescribing provider. Psychotherapy is typically scheduled every week. Your Provider may require more frequent visits depending on your specific circumstances.
All prescription refill requests require processing and approval from your Provider. While most refill requests are completed the same day, please allow 48 hours as pharmacies are sometimes delayed. Also, if your insurance company requires a Prior Authorization to be completed before agreeing to pay for your medications. Approval of the Prior Authorization depends on your insurance company and may take up to 2 weeks.
Journey Psyche providers provide the highest quality care and help you function at your best. Monthly appointments help your providers assess medication compliance, improve quality of care, prevent escalation of symptoms, assess efficacy, and manage potential side effects.
